No because then history would change (butterfly Effect) and I wouldn't be born.. and i'm not super okay with that..... Besides we won so lets not fix what isn't broken ;)
I agree because the U.S would be involved on something that we weren't directly in. We can lend aid but there were no more reason for us to be there and directly involved.
No because the war wasn't involving the U.S until the attack on Pearl Harbor and Hitler decided to declare war on the U.S which made the U.S get involved.
Had we entered the war earlier, we could've stopped the attack. However, Japan had no provoked the U.S. before Pearl Harbor, and we had not provoked them, so to attack Japan without provoking them would be an act of aggression, that is also a War Crime. But, since Japan attacked first, we got to do a live demonstration of our nuclear power. :3
I think they should not of entered the war before the war. When we entered after pearl harbor it was the perfect time to enter the war because the axis powers were weak due to being so spread out in europe.
From a moral standpoint, yes, America should have entered before Pearl Harbor. Setting morals aside, I think that the United States entered ww2 at the right time - Germany was distracted with Russia, giving us an advantage.
Thing is, we didn't have a problem with Japan until Pearl Harbor. Japan was having its own little fight with China, it wasn't doing anything else, they didn't even have propaganda aimed at us. So attacking them would've been pointless.
I don't think the United States should have enetered the war before the attack on Pearl Harbor because of the position we were in. All of Germany's focus was on the invasion of Russia and it's capitol, giving the U.S the perfect oppurtunity to join the war and attack Germany with it's back turned.
If we had joined the war at an earlier time, Germany may have focused on the West instead of the East.
I think America entered at a good time. The bombing of Pearl Harbor could have been prevented if they had entered earlier. But, because America entered the war so late they were able to save their resources and "fight power" so that they could finish up the war quickly.
I believe that America should have joined the war before the Japanese launched an attack on Pearl Harbor. Before any conflict with American involvement, we were still a key entity in the war. Vast amounts of aid were given to the Allied powers in Europe, but the aid that we gave to Russia amounted to significantly less. Russia also experienced more casualties in the war than that of any other Allied Power, which one would think calls for more aid. This lack of aid plus the lack of military intervention until Pearl Harbor was also a significant factor in the origins of the Cold War. Military action before Russia received so many casualties could have not only saved lives by crushing Germany before getting so powerful but could have potentially softened the impact of the Cold War conflicts between the U.S.S.R. and the United States.

DeleteYes, because our allies were being attacked, so we have to go back them up.
ReplyDeleteur dum
DeleteHows it feel to be so wrong?
DeleteJapan wasn't attacking any of our allies. China was the only one being attacked and we weren't allied with them.
DeleteNo, there was no main reason for them to join because they weren't attacked or at risk. So joining before would of been pointless.
ReplyDeleteI agree because the U.S would be involved on something that we weren't directly in. We can lend aid but there were no more reason for us to be there and directly involved.
DeleteI agree because the U.S wasn't being provoked to enter so therefore it made perfect sense to enter the war when they did.
Deleteyes because i think we shall bomb every one and make one giant united states
ReplyDeleteMuch brilliance.
Deleteyes pesant
DeleteNo i don't think we should have because we could have changed important events that lead to hitler's down fall.
ReplyDeleteI think they entered the war when they should've, because I do not believe a country should go into a war, unless being personally attacked.
ReplyDeleteWrong

DeleteIts literally the same answer as yours, I just said we got to use nukes.
DeleteI agree, because I feel like we shouldn't have entered the war until after Pearl Harbor, because we had not provoked each other like you stated.
